Comparative Study between Bacteriologic Findings in Patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis and Bacteriology of Surgically Resected Lung Tissue.

Included in the study were 57 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis hospitalized under our service in Tr#{225}nsito C#{225}ceres de Allende Hospital (C#{243}rdoba, Argentina) from 1959 to July 31, 1962. These were 39 men and 18 women with ages ranging from 13 to 54 years, most suffering from far advanced or moderately advanced pulmonary tuberculosis. These patients had been given antimicrobial therapy with INH, SM and PAS before their hospitalization.
